This exquisite five star luxury hotel in Amsterdam, ideally located on Amstel Canal with its own private jetty, is one of the finest places to stay in the city, whether your visit is for business or leisure.

Since it first opened in September 1971 this hotel has grown and grown in eminence, gaining a much deserved reputation for providing top class facilities and services, including its four superb restaurants, of which two have been awarded with one Michelin Star and one with Bib Gourmand.

The hotel also has a state-of-the-art health club, which boasts saunas, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, a fully equipped fitness centre and an 18 metre indoor swimming pool alongside soothing and healing massage facilities.

You don't have to go far to indulge the urge to shop either, the lower-level shopping gallery has boutiques selling Godiva chocolates, Maximilian leather goods, Dutch china and giftware, diamond jewellery, and flowers.

Please note that due to Dutch legislation, as of the 1st of July, it will no longer be allowed to smoke in restaurants, bars and hotels. However, there will be two smoking areas around the hotel. In front of the hotel a smoke station will be placed for the guests and on the terrace it will also still be possible to smoke a cigarette.

Executive Rooms
Our executive rooms are located on the highest floors of the hotel, from the 17th to the 22nd floor and have a free access to Executive Lounge and Health Club.
